ALL RECORDS originally started out as a small shop selling vinyl records, gradually expanding to more locations and extending their range of products

 

The business had to update its image in order to appeal to a new generation within a very competitive market. The new name “PLAY” identifies the company's ethos in parallel with the nature of its products. The additional tag line “Come out to Play” encourages the online shopper to venture outside.

 

The new identity is based on the concept of activity and movement, taking reference from patterns of sound waves and volume levels. Bold typography is used in combination with vivid colours for eye-catching visuals aiming to attract the passer-by.

The logo takes shape from the positive and negative play between bold typography and sound wave patterns.
